Lori A. Grossi founded Sensory Playground in 2007. Together with her team of dedicated pediatric therapists, Lori has helped children ages 0-16 overcome their challenges. She has been an Occupational Therapist since 2004. She graduated from Penn State University’s Occupational Therapy Program and is a member of the High Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi of Penn State University. Lori has received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Mount Mary University’s M.S.O.T. Program PPMS.

Lori specializes in Pediatric Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration Disorder. She has worked in preschools and public schools. In addition, she has extensive professional experience in early intervention services. She is the founder of a private occupational therapy practice in New York and is certified in Handwriting without Tears, sensory, autism, ADHD, behavioral issues, attention issues and developmental delays.

Lori is S.I.P.T Certified (Sensory Integration and Praxis Test) and a Certified Sensory Integration Therapist, B.S, M.S.,PPMS, O.T.R./L, & S.I.P.T. She has extensive training in sensory integration theory and practice. She is recognized for her work in identifying and treating children with sensory processing disorders. She is devoted to developing successful and confident kids.
